The Rosalie peasant top is a dream to sew up and with our sewing course it won't take long before you are running these up for yourself and your girl! When you enroll to the course you will be taken through the process from cutting out the fabric to completing the top and the many options it has.
For all enrolled course members there are bonus videos which explain how to create a recessed seam and add a chiffon frill.
We are also adding a skirt and with all the sections you will be spoiled for choice! I had so much fun creating this pattern for you and can't wait to see what you come up with!
Why not make it into a cute school dress? Just use the lower cutting line and add a quick skirt.
It is totally easy and there is a short video in the course showing you exactly how. Make use of all those skirt patterns you have in your stash and just sew them to this gorgeous peasant blouse.
This blouse was made for the video which you can see on You Tube and in the course. I used a lovely dotted cotton woven fabric for the yoke and a four way stretch knit for the body. using cotton for both makes it easy to sew.
In this back view you can see that the back is totally in stretch/knit fabric. The upper edge is just serged and turned in. It is just so easy to make and this gives the blouse the comfort it needs.
It doesn't stop at the kiddo pattern. Finally a blouse for you too! I love mine to bits. It is so comfortable and makes a smart top for work and casual afternoons alike.
The sizes run from girls 1-2 up to 10-12 and ladies size 2-22. It's all included in one pattern. Yes that is correct! You get two awesome patterns and a sewing course for $8.50! Choose from two different lengths, add skirts or frills and whip up this gorgeous top in no time. The pattern can be downloaded in US letter size, DIN A4 (English) and DIN A4 (German). Please note that all videos are in English. For the same course in German, please visit my partner site Makerist.de.
The shorter version of the video is free, so you can watch the instructions before you buy. For everyone purchasing the pattern everything is neatly organised into chapters and I added a few extra tips too. Just check out the contents below. You can purchase the pattern right here in the academy or on frocksandfrolics.com. Both will give you full access to the video course.
